At AG Osteopathy & Sports Clinic, every day is a little different but the mission stays the same: help people move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free.
In this short “Day in the Life” video, our lead osteopath Angus Gould takes you behind the scenes of what a typical day looks like at our Tunbridge Wells clinic, from early-morning routines to treating complex cases in clinic, and even winding down at the end of the day.
🎥 Watch the video below to see what goes on behind the scenes at AG Osteopathy:
Mornings Start with Movement
Before the clinic doors even open, Angus starts the day the same way he encourages his patients to, with movement.
A brisk walk with Mango (the office’s honorary mascot 🐶) followed by a quick 20-minute spin on the bike helps get the blood flowing before a full day of hands-on work.
Then it’s coffee, clinic prep, and a quick catch-up with the team before patients begin arriving.
Treating Pain, Restoring Movement
Once the day begins, it’s straight into back-to-back appointments. On this particular day, Angus worked with patients struggling with plantar fasciitis and tibialis posterior tendinopathy, both common but frustrating lower-limb conditions that can stop people in their tracks.
These are the types of problems our team sees every week at AG Osteopathy. Whether it’s a running-related injury, a flare-up from work posture, or pain that’s been lingering for months, our goal is always to:
- Find the root cause, not just mask symptoms.
- Use hands-on treatment to relieve pain and improve function.
Create a personalised rehab plan so the results actually last.
Acupuncture, Rehab & Recovery
In between treatments, Angus also performs medical acupuncture, in this case, to help loosen tight hamstrings and improve recovery for one of our regular clients, Christian.
It’s a great example of how we blend traditional osteopathy with modern rehab techniques to help patients recover faster and stay pain-free for longer.
Wrapping Up the Day
After clinic hours, it’s time for a quick clean-down, updating patient notes, and setting rehab exercises ready for the next day. Once everything’s squared away, Angus heads home for some well-earned downtime, this week’s obsession: The Traitors.
Because even osteopaths need a bit of rest and recovery.
